Synopsis:
The setting is a rural town in 1914. In the Potter home which is
also the doctor's office, a boarding house and the telephone
exchange, life is pretty humdrum until a train carrying Buffalo
Bill's Wild West Show derails just outside town.
Buffaloes and Indians roaming the cornfields make the
switchboard light up, and a cowboy with a nasty bump on his head
wanders to the house. As he recuperates, he turns life upside
down for the Potter household.
A Northeast Ohio premiere, this musical is based on an actual
Wild West Show train wreck in North Carolina and is filled with
toe-tapping music and heartfelt lyrics. |
